CHALLENGE

Our client, a global telecoms and broadband enterprise, wanted to act on their fair/detrimental usage policy and fraud usage detection for their broadband service overseas. With more than 1TB data flowing through the system, performance and data identification within an enterprise operations window was the main challenge.


Solution

EiSquare was engaged to design and implement an aggregated data transformation, storage and analysis solution that identified those who owned the data usage, isolate and report the potential fraud usage, and integrate with the client’s other systems to manage and report the fair usage outcome.


Outcome

The client can now enforce fair usage policy, and increase the efficiency and performance of existing infrastructure along with decreased revenue leakage due to identification of fraud. As a direct outcome of this, the client’s existing customers had an improved level of service that directly led to less ‘churn’.
